Cedar Point has invested in several ambitious water rides that keep park visitors cool (and wet) on hot days.
Shoot the Rapids (new for 2010!) – The newest Cedar Point attraction is a “wild river adventure” that places riders in boats and shoots them through whitewater rapids for three minutes of excitement. It will be located near Frontier Trail and will debut on Opening Day 2010.
Snake River Falls – Riders plunge down a steep hill and into a wall of water which soaks everyone aboard – as well as onlookers on the nearby bridge.
Height requirement: 48″
Thunder Canyon – The thrill of white-water rafting is simulated in this 1,600-foot-ride that takes riders through rough water and a rocky landscape.
Height requirement: 46″
